Follow these 3 easy steps
to order everything you need
to successfully complete Module 3

Step 1: Order Your Study Kit

The Complete Study Kit includes your:

You will be buying your study kit for a complete Module.

The student is responsible for purchasing the mentor's materials.

Also, the Orders Department can provide a few of the textbooks you will need. You can order these textbooks using the Module 3 Order Form.

Now, let's complete the Module 3 Order Form (pdf) (word)

Once you have completed this form you can either email, fax, or send it by mail to the address indicated on the form. Please allow two weeks for your order to be processed, plus shipping time.

Step 2: Order Your Textbooks

Textbooks are ordered separately from your study kit.

Download the Module 3 Textbook List (pdf) for a list of all required materials in Module 3.

You may obtain the textbooks however you wish, and you are not required to buy them if you have access to a library from which you may borrow these required texts. You may also purchase these books from wherever you wish.

While you may purchase your textbooks from wherever you wish; please note that at different times the Orders Department has some of the required textbooks for sale at a discounted price. This is reflected on your Module 3 Order form. The books listed are offered at a lower price than at MBS.

We have provided a resource for you where your textbooks can easily be purchased online through the MBS Direct virtual bookstore http://direct.mbsbooks.com/iis.htm

MBS boasts that you receive the best possible service and the highest quality product, accurately and on time. Not only does MSB know your courses and stock what you'll need, they also provide Used Books, Buyback, a  Return Policy  and a secure ordering site.

Click on “Buy Course Materials” to view the list of textbooks that are available for purchase.

You will need to buy your textbooks for the whole module.  When you visit the MBS website make sure to choose the World Christian Foundations Program as the program in which you are enrolled.  You will then choose the appropriate module.

Optional: Logos Bible Software Scholars' Library

This searchable software can replace the texts marked by an asterisk. If you have access to a compatible computer, you can use this software to read from the marked texts or their equivalent in an electronic format. This software also contains hundreds of titles that could be useful as you do research for papers on biblical studies topics.

For assignments in the marked texts, use the Logos search feature to locate articles in the library on the assigned topics.

For Hebrew lessons, use the Interlinear and English-Hebrew Concordance in Logos. We highly recommend the Logos system. Logos also contains reference tools that can be used for your Greek lessons. The Greek reference works that Logos can replace are marked by an asterisk.

Logos provides training modules online and within the software itself. For more information visit: www.logos.com . Also keep in mind that the Logos company sells other software “add-ins” that can complement the base software, Logos Bible Software Scholars' Library. Logos carries a variety of “add-ins” that cover topics ranging from church history to small group resources. One such “add-in” can be useful for Module 3 and is described below.

For detailed information about the Logos Bible Scholar's Library please visit the logos website at:

Textbook Editions

Eerdmans’ Handbook to the World’s Religions, 2d ed. has gone out of print.  Therefore, while you can perhaps find a used copy of this book somewhere, we strongly suggest that you purchase the replacement textbook that we have chosen, the book entitled "Introduction to World Religions" edited by Partridge.  We have provided you with a conversion chart that will indicate which pages from Partridges text to read for which lesson.  The chart is found online at: wciu.edu/conversion

If you have any concerns or questions about ordering books, contact the Orders Department at orders@wciu.edu or 626-398-2289.

Step 3: Downloading Important Documents

There are additional documents that are helpful and necessary for the completion of Module 1. Some documents are informational, whereas others must be filled out and returned to your institution.
